About me

  • Hi – I’m Richard Chadwick, a BACP* registered counsellor and welcome to my website.

I offer a safe space for clients to talk about what’s going on for them, without judgement and in confidence. The power of this process means that talking about your problems helps you to gain perspective and to find a place to express your frustration or suffering.

As a male counsellor, I can be a particular support to male clients who feel like they want to speak to another male, although I welcome any clients regardless of gender. I have a great deal of experience of working with clients who identify as LGBTQ+.

As someone who has worked in the media, I also have experience of that industry and can help clients with specific work-related stress.

If you want to know what I sound like, listen to a therapy podcast I was interviewed for recently, called This Won’t Fix You – this particular episode focuses on the concept of The Drama Triangle.

Why counselling helps

I work with many different issues including anxiety, bereavement, grief, confidence, depression, LGBTQ+, relationship issues, sexuality and stress.

Please get in touch to find out how I might be able to help.

My therapy is a way for you to gain a better understanding of your life within a safe, non-judgmental space. It can help you to move forwards with a much clearer mind and can help you to gain perspective over your life and situation. It can help you to feel more in control and empowered to make changes.

Clients who’ve worked with me have reported feeling better and having more clarity and peace-of-mind.
